Ikväll fick vi som gillar relationen mellan Jim (David Conrad) och Melinda (Jennifer Love Hewitt) se ett nytt steg i rätt riktning. Efter mycket om och men så slutade det med att han följde henne med in.
Huvudtemat i kvällens avsnitt av Ghost Whisperer var en mamma som hittade sin bortadoperade son i fängelset och gjorde sedan sitt bästa för att hjälpa honom att få ett bättre liv. Resten av familjen var inte medvetena om hur det egentligen låg till och dottern trodde därför att de hade en affär eftersom relationen var så djup.
Till en början gjorde mamman allt i sin makt för att förhindra att sanningen kom fram, men till slut så accepterade hon hur det låg till och kunde kliva in i ljuset när Melina hjälpte familjen av få en avslutning på det hela.

Delia: (seeing two teenagers grinding together) I am as open minded as the next person, but who calls that dancing? This is a public place for God’s sake!
Sam/Jim: Here you are, ladies. (hands Melinda and Delia a couple of drinks). Careful, judging by the dancefloor I’d say these are spiked.
Sam/Jim: Okay, I know what’s it about.
Melinda: What? What is it about?
Sam/Jim: That you’re not ready to start dating yet. And it makes total sense. I understand. There’s no hard feelings.
Melinda: No, but I am ready.
Sam/Jim: Your head says you are, but your hearts says no. Not yet.
Melinda: No, it doesn’t. Okay, my heart doesn’t say that. I think I would know what my heart says.
Sam/Jim: Melinda, I get it. It’s okay. You don’t have to do

Deborah Marks: (the ghost) I did that too. Tried to hide the truth to protect my family. But the lies hurt…more than anything.
